You should first create some ventilation in the area you are working if you can. While applying the RMR-86, especially in enclosed non-ventilated spaces, you should wear PPE. The proper PPE suggested is a full face respirator with organic acid gas cartridges, hooded chemical tyvek suit, and some nitrile gloves.
RMR-86 should not be used on any metals or fabrics. This solution is corrosive in nature and does have a bleaching effect on fabrics and upholsteries.
