What is Mold Stain Removal?

In the past mold stains were removed by "old school" techniques that were very time consuming and costly. Some examples of these techniques are dry ice blasting or wire brush and sanding. These techniques would take a lot of time to complete the job and thus cost a bundle in labor expenses.

Now the modern most up-to-date mold stain removal techniques are chemical based approaches that can cut HUGE amounts of labor costs as a contractor and allow you to do more jobs in less time! YES! Ultimately, that means you are making a lot more money per job!

There are two types of chemical mold stain removal techniques:

Peroxide Base Solutions  (SLOW)       Vs      RMR-86    ( FAST )   

When the peroxide based products approach came onto the scene, it was a HUGE leap forward for the industry compared to dry ice and sanding techniques. Companies like Concrobium, Serum, Fiberlock and Sporicidin all have peroxide type products on the market. But now, peroxide based solutions are considered “old school” techniques compared to RMR-86 solution. Why waste your time with slow products like peroxide based name brands when you can use RMR-86 that works in seconds.
